Identification of Some Turkish Olive Varieties Using Rapd-Pcr Technique

Olive (Olea europaea L.), originated from Upper Mesopotamia, which also includes Southeastern Anatolia. There are many olive varieties whose morphological and biological properties are not well known. Some of those identified by their morphological and biological characteristics have some variations depending on unknown genotypic or phenotypic causes.

Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA)-PCR technique 14 primers (Operon Technologies) were used and the results were confirmed by 3 replications.
