Carbohydrates of various applications during rooting of Domat and Gemlik steels...

While investigating the rooting causes and rooting mechanism of semi-hardwood olive cuttings of hard-to-root (Domat) and easy-to-root (Gemlik) varieties, the total sugar and starch levels were analyzed.

The total sugar content was higher overall in Domat. 1996 (in the year) and 90. day steels, 1995 (off-year) and 15. it has less total sugar per day. At the same time, while the endogenous starch content of steels was found to be lower in 1996, the metabolic activity in root and stem formations was found to be higher this year. In general, Domat and 15. the starch ratio is higher in Decals, but in Domat (unlike Gemlik) there is no significant difference between time periods, intense callus formation is observed instead of root formation.
